Learning Difficulties Assessment

A comprehensive assessment designed to evaluate an individual’s academic skills, cognitive strengths, and learning challenges. This is not a diagnostic procedure. Diagnosis can only be made by a qualified psychiatrist.

Session Format: Conducted in person only.

Duration: 2 hours

  • Dyslexia (reading difficulties)
  • Dysgraphia (writing difficulties)
  • Dyscalculia (arithmetic difficulties)

What is included:

  • Motor Skills: 
    • Bender-Gestalt Visual-Motor Test to evaluate visual-motor coordination and integration.
  • Language Skills:
    • Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test for receptive language and vocabulary
    • Expressive Language Test for expressive language skills
  • Cognitive / IQ Assessment:
    • Cattell Intelligence Test
  • Attention:
    • D2 Attention Test 
    • SASX Continuous Attention Test 
  • Academic Skills:
    • Word Reading Knowledge Test
    • Reading Speed and Comprehension Test
    • Writing Skills Test
    • Mathematics and Arithmetic Skills Test

Purpose and Outcome:

You will receive a detailed report to share with a psychiatrist, helping them in the diagnostic process. The report outlines strengths, challenges, and patterns in learning, providing guidance for interventions, educational planning, and support strategies.
